Business Retention & Expansion
The strength of our local economy is built on the foundation of our current corporate citizens. The Office of Economic Development's Business Retention and Expansion program recognizes the importance of existing businesses and focuses on engaging the business community in gathering important information that illustrates overall trends within the region.
Every year, the Office of Economic Development conducts face to face meetings and round table discussions with existing businesses in Sugar Land. The City of Sugar Land understands that the success of our existing businesses is imperative to the overall economic health of the city and can help in building on that success in the following ways:
Our staff is readily available to meet with businesses to offer assistance and resources on available real estate, incentive programs, workforce training programs, permitting assistance, and individual business concerns.
The Office of Economic Development provides business resource information on a case-by-case basis for City of Sugar Land incentives.
