Property Tax
Sugar Land’s property tax base continues to grow. And real estate is becoming
an even more profitable investment. These foundations have produced increased
revenues and tax income. At the same time, over the last 10 years, the city’s

rates in Texas, the City of Sugar Land is a pro-business community committed
to strong economic growth and development. Today, Sugar Land is one of the top

solid waste collection. MUDs have certain governmental powers such as the ability
to levy and collect property taxes and issue bonds for water and sewer facilities.
