By each ethnic grouping, the citizens of Fort Bend County have the highest educational attainment in the region to exceed the national averages. All six of the county’s school districts surpass state and national testing standards. And in Sugar Land the new facility for The University of Houston System at Sugar Land recently opened its doors—a campus and research park of 248 acres that includes numerous educational facilities, including a media and technology center.
